The NMRT Annual Conference Professional Development Attendance Award Committee congratulates Amy Manns (of DeSales University) and Carmen Redding (of the North Dakota State Library) on their winning essays. Manns and Redding will win a ticket to their professional development event of choice at the ALA Annual Conference 2019 in Washington, D.C.
Manns will receive a ticket to the Coretta Scott King Awards Breakfast. Redding will receive a ticket to the Newbery-Caldecott-Legacy Banquet. In the spirit of ALA’s New Members Round Table (NMRT), this award fosters active involvement in ALA through various special events at the Annual Conference. The award provides professional development and networking opportunities to NMRT members by providing a ticket to attend the event of their choice.
